Welcome to the on-line component of the Certificate in Play-based Treatment of Trauma
The primary goal of this program is to deepen participants’ understanding of a play-based approach to the assessment and treatment of trauma. In the live sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage in experiential play and expressive activities useful in the processing of situational, sexual, physical and emotional trauma. Participants will be exposed to various theories and conceptualization tools related to the treatment of trauma. Directive and non-directive approaches will be explored.
This course may be submitted to by APT, CAPT and/or BACAPT for approved play therapy hours
